The electric current entering through the inductor will oscillate because it is controlled by IC PWM so that the electric voltage multiplies, then the diode will convert the voltage into a DC current which will then be filtered by an electrolytic capacitor.
The use of very few components in the DC boost converter system will make modern electronic devices more compact and have a smaller size. Apart from the significantly reduced device size, the DC boost converter also makes electronic devices more power efficient.
